The Kavanaghs_
A retro-power-pop band from Rosario, Argentina, working on their debut album to be released in 2007.
All the time, the band's first single, was released by Matchbox Recordings UK on november 1st. 2006.

Working since early 2006, the band is now working on their debut album. Thanks to the band’s first single, record labels such as Parlophone and Matchbox Recordings have asked for a Kavanaghs album. The record will include 11 songs written and produce by Tiago and could be labeled as Retro-power-pop.
Band members are: Tiago [lead vocals, rhythm guitars, pianos], James [lead guitars], Jules [drums and percussion] and Leo [bass and backing vocals]
Tiago, songwriter and producer, explains that the band goal is to achieve a retro sound, based on bands such as The Beatles [of course], Badfinger, The Raspberries, The Beach Boys, The Zombies, The Kinks, Smoke and Aerovons.
Although The Kavanaghs is new in town, Tiago and Jules have been working on different bands since 1997. Always together, they released an album with a band called Ravi Sup in 2000, and an EP and a great album called “Now!” both for Tiago’s solo career. All of those records got warm reviews in the main musical movement in the city.
By now, the band is planning to do a couple of shows in London, Liverpool and Manchester by mid-2008.
Finally, because of the crisis of the musical industry in his own country, Tiago planned an album to go further on. James, his cousin, along with Jules and Leo, followed him in that ”impossible journey” of making a record and put wings on it to get to England. But some dreams just need passion and hard work….
So, here, for you, are THE KAVANAGHS.
